Carved and gilded American Eagle. America's great symbol, this eagle was carved in the second half of the 19th century for architechtural or maritime use. Formerly of the Florsheim Collection, this Eagle is wonderfully modelled in pine with red gesso and gilded with gold leaf. 50 x 74 x 36 inches

L'AMERIQUE
The 74 Gun, French Prisoner-of-War model "L'AMERIQUE" is finely detailed and built using plank-on-frame construction of ivory and bone. The "L'AMERIQUE" was captured from the French June 1, 1794, by Lord Howe and added to the Royal Navy as the H.M.S. IMPETUE. She took part in operations near Quiberon Bay and in the Bay of Biscay in the 1800's. The model is displayed in a beautiful mahogany case. Case dims.: 21 x 27 x 12 inches

Beautiful Sailor's Valentine "Fanfare" by Sandi Blanda (American, b. 1949), award winning shell artist. This 13" valentine has a beautiful rose made of pink shells on a bed of yellow shells in the center. The lovely floral center is surrounded by a 16-point star made of white and blue shells surrounded by two bands of pearls. The outermost band is filled with a stunning medley of colorful floral shell arrangements.

Wonderful Sailor's Valentine "Changing Tides" by Sandi Blanda (American, b. 1949), award winning shell artist. This 9" octagonal shaped mahogany case has a lovely white, peach, and purple floral motif with mother-of-pearl and sea glass accents.
